Limousine

Brooklyn | Greenpoint

Opened: August 28, 2026

Limousine brings a new cocktail-bar identity to 632 Manhattan Avenue, the former home of Ponyboy. Opened in August 2026, it's a collaboration between Zander Brezinsky of Five Leaves and Michael Petersen of Goldie's, two operators with deep ties to Greenpoint hospitality. Rather than simply reopening the old nightclub, they've created a place where drinks, a proper bite to eat, and a longer night out can all fit into the same visit.

The menu pairs cocktails with oysters served in several styles, deviled eggs, and more substantial bar snacks such as beef tartare. There's also a karaoke component for anyone hoping to turn the evening into something less low-key. With its combination of food, cocktails, and entertainment, Limousine offers a new reason to visit a familiar corner of Greenpoint.

Matches

Brooklyn | Greenpoint

Opened: August 14, 2026

Matches occupies one of Greenpoint's most recognizable nightlife spots: the former home of Enid's, later occupied by Bar Bruno. The team behind Greenpoint Fish & Lobster and Rounders reopened the Manhattan Avenue space in August 2026, restoring the old Enid's exterior while giving the interior a new food-and-drinks identity. Its name is a nod to Matchless, another beloved neighborhood bar that once stood across the street.

Earlier in the evening, Matches is an easygoing place for cocktails and American-style bar food, with dishes such as steak frites, seared shrimp, and a dressed-up burger. Later, the mood shifts from dinner to nightlife, with music and dancing under a disco ball. It's a rare newcomer that feels both new and familiar—a fresh chapter for a corner with plenty of Greenpoint history.

Socceria

Brooklyn | Greenpoint

Opened: May 30, 2026

Socceria turns watching soccer into the main event, pairing the excitement of a match-day crowd with Mexican food and drinks. It comes from Giovanni Cervantes and Tania Apolinar, the couple behind Taqueria Ramirez and Carnitas Ramirez, working with partners to transform the former Nura space on Norman Avenue. The venue debuted in May 2026, just ahead of the summer's major international soccer festivities.

Rather than serving only the usual sports-bar staples, Socceria draws on the Ramirez team's cooking, with Mexican breakfast dishes, quesadillas, tlacoyos, bar snacks, and other options to accompany the game. Micheladas and a selection of international beers fit the soccer-first concept. It's a particularly compelling addition for fans who want to watch a match with a crowd, but the food gives non-fans a reason to come along too.

Me and Paul’s

Brooklyn | Greenpoint

Opened: April 30, 2026

Me and Paul's marks a new chapter for one of Greenpoint's best-known pizza addresses. The original Paulie Gee's restaurant, which opened in 2010, closed temporarily before reopening in April 2026 as a more casual neighborhood tavern. The updated concept draws on the bar experience of operators connected to Williamsburg favorites Skinny Dennis, Lucky Dog, and Rocka Rolla, while keeping the wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizzas that made the location famous.

The new setup is designed for hanging out as much as eating: there's a pool table, darts, and a jukebox, alongside beer, cocktails, and pizza straight from the oven. Instead of a traditional sit-down pizzeria outing, Me and Paul's offers a looser, stay-for-another-round atmosphere. It's a reinvention that lets longtime pizza fans keep their familiar pies while giving Greenpoint a new neighborhood bar.
