Williamsburg is never short on places to get a drink—but the Brooklyn neighborhood’s newest arrivals are giving us even more reasons to go out. This season’s openings run the gamut from serious cocktail bars and laid-back neighborhood hangouts to Southern comfort-food joints and places built for dancing or watching the game.

Whether you’re looking for a new local, a date-night drink, or somewhere to take friends on a Friday, here are the latest bars worth knowing about in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We’ll keep this guide updated as new spots open and older entries rotate out.

Rocky’s

Brooklyn | Williamsburg

Opened: October 19, 2026

A new kind of game-day hangout is taking shape on Broadway. Rocky’s bills itself as the sports bar that doesn’t feel like one, pairing the energy of live games with a more design-conscious room, crafted cocktails, and an ambitious food menu.

Plans for the space include plenty of screens and high-quality sound for everything from football and Premier League matches to UFC and basketball, along with chef-developed food and a daytime café component. It’s an appealing pitch for people who love watching sports with a crowd but want something beyond the usual wings-and-beer setup.

Bar Milagro

Brooklyn | Williamsburg

Re-launched: October 15, 2026

Part Mexican cantina, part late-night dance destination, Bar Milagro brings a new identity to a familiar waterfront-adjacent address. What was previously Xolo upstairs and Bar Milagro downstairs is now unified under the Bar Milagro name, with owner Jorge Boetto and Dolly’s co-founder Raffaello Van Couten involved in the reinvention.

The upstairs is made for tacos, margaritas, and catching up over drinks; downstairs, the basement dance floor shifts the mood toward a night out. The venue also advertises weekday happy-hour specials, though those are worth checking before visiting. This is a relaunch rather than a completely new venue—and a recent post on their Instagram announced October 15 as the official relaunch date.

susu’s

Brooklyn | Williamsburg

Opened: September 26, 2026

Williamsburg has no shortage of cocktail bars, but Susu’s is making a case for the kind you can actually turn into your regular spot. Brothers Michael Bishop-Myers, formerly of Greenpoint’s much-loved Pencil Factory, and Steven Bishop opened this Kent Avenue corner bar with a simple idea: a bar made by bartenders, for people who like bars.

Expect well-made classics and house cocktails, beer, natural wine, and satisfying drinking food—including the Susu Smash Burger. A hi-fi vinyl setup supplies the soundtrack, with DJs spinning records on weekends. There’s no reservation book or dress code: just walk in, order a drink, and see where the evening goes.

My Friend Duke

Brooklyn | Williamsburg

Opened: September 12, 2026

The team behind longtime Williamsburg favorite Mug’s Ale House has given the corner of South 4th and Berry Streets a new chapter. My Friend Duke moved into the former Nicky’s Unisex space in September, swapping the previous tenant’s identity for a cozy cocktail-bar setup under a hunter-green awning.

Inside, bottles line wooden shelves, framed photos decorate the walls, and flashes of pink neon add character. The result is a neighborhood-minded option for cocktails that feels more relaxed than a special-occasion lounge. Stop by when you want a proper drink without turning it into a whole production.

Ferguson's Country

Brooklyn | Williamsburg

Opened: September 12, 2026

A little Southern hospitality has landed across from McCarren Park. Ferguson’s Country—also known as Fergs—brings Alabama-inspired comfort food and a laid-back bar to Lorimer Street, courtesy of Scott Ferguson and Gabriella Mann, the owner behind nearby natural-wine spot Baba.

Come hungry: the menu draws on Ferguson’s Southern upbringing with fried catfish, hush puppies, shrimp and grits, and hot chicken biscuits. The drinks go beyond the expected beer-and-bourbon formula, with cocktails including a Corn Martini and Lowcountry Iced Tea, plus a serious interest in moonshine. It’s part neighborhood dinner destination, part excuse to linger over another round.

Gramma's Tavern

Brooklyn | Williamsburg

Opened: September, 2026

  • 📍 151 Meserole St, Brooklyn, NY 11206

Gramma’s Tavern is a new neighborhood pub at the corner of Meserole Street and Graham Avenue, in a space previously occupied by Graham Bar. The premise is refreshingly straightforward: a local watering hole for drinks and conversation, rather than another elaborately themed nightlife destination.

Details on the drinks menu, interiors, and programming are still limited, so consider this one to keep on your radar.
